How 8 Scandalous Women Changed the World

Hi Girls! Today's post is not about beauty or hair tips and tricks.
Today's post is about Carol Cook and her new Book. She is a very talented author. Her book is called "How 8 Scandalous Women Changed the World" which is published just recently.

I was very interested in this book because personally, I am a true feminist.
It doesn't mean I am against the whole male population being dominant but I like the style of being a feminine woman and hence I love dressing up, doing make-up or hair.
I love reading about the Japanese tradition of Geishas and how they played a HUGE part in ancient Japan.
I especially love reading about women who came from a difficult past but became immortal in our history. Their life stories have always been inspiring to me. I learnt a lot from them and that's why I am looking forward to this book VERY eagerly. So I wanted to give her book a try.

I found the cover page really interesting too because the woman in the picture is wearing bangles on her hand and a saree I think (which is Indian Clothing). I could be wrong but that was my first impression of the cover. Therefore I am SO excited to read this. I can't wait when I get this book and I will definitely do a review on it soon.

Here is the website: www.carolcook.us
Its definitely worth a try in my opinion. I am so ecstatic about the book and the stories of these 8 women.

Let me know your opinion if you have read it :)

Take Care.

DIY: Treat Keratosis Pilaris (acne-like bumps on the back of your hand) Naturally

For those who don't know what Keratosis Pilaris (KP) is, you know the little bumps you have below your elbow or back of the thighs. Well of course if you don't have them you won't know and you are very lucky :) I didn't even know it is a skin issue until my beautiful blog reader told me about it but don't worry it is harmless.

" Now, I was wondering if you could do a blog post on how to treat Keratosis Pilaris? I would love to know how to get rid of it by using home remedies, and I do love that you use home remedies, and they work, so I'm kinda hoping that you'll take it into consideration, doing a blog post on KP ;-) "

DIY: Natural Face Mask for Oily Acne Prone Skin

I did a similar post before. Check it out: DIY: 2 in 1 Facial Mask for Acne Prone Skin.
I use this face mask everyday now because I have REALLY oily skin. I wouldn't recommend this for people with dry skin type because the ingredients will make your skin flaky if its already dry.
This mask somehow balances out the oils/sebum produced on my skin.
I have tested this mask for about 2 months now and there is a HUGE difference I can see.

Another 100% Natural Tip for Dark Circles

Hey Guys! I know it has been 4 WEEKS and I haven't done a single post. But to be honest guys, I have been going through tough times :( Its just one of those bad times in life. It sucks but I think I am learning a lot from this journey so I guess life is sweet :)

For the past few days, I have been reading BubzBeauty's Diary Entries and they were SO inspiring. I mean she talks about the problems she used to have with people and in her high school and reading that makes me feel like I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE. You know!! I really recommend people to read her diary entries. Trust me they are REALLY helpful. I have been home for 2 weeks and I haven't even stepped outside my house but reading her life stories makes me less depressing :)
I might also start doing diary entries of my high school days and how I dealt with problems I had.

Okay I don't want to bore you guys so back to the topic!!
I got a sweetest email from my Blog Reader. Her name is Sumedha and she gave me a REALLY good tip for dark circles. If you are reading this Sumedha, thank you so much for this. I will definitely try it out and post the results in another Blogpost.

DIY: Natural Tips for Kinky Curls

Hey girls. I got this request from my beautiful reader and I know this post is really late but trust me it was a little hard for me to make this post since I don't have kinky curls so I don't have much experience in this. But I do have curly hair so my hair tends to get  frizzy a lot. I have found a technique which really helps to tame the frizz even on the second day hair. So here's my experience...
